Fall Blazers – I: Black and White
Hi everyone! It is officially fall and its time to put away the summer brights and pull out those layering pieces! One of the most versatile and elegant items are blazers and my closet is full of them in all sizes and colors. The most important part in choosing a blazer is that it should be well fitted, especially the shoulders. I’m starting a blazer series where I am going to talk about styling blazers, and this is the first edition. This week it is all about the black and whites.
LOOK 1
This look is with the classic black blazer. Every girl should own a black blazer. You can dress it up for a formal event or fancy dinner or go casual with it. I went the casual route and paired it with some ripped denim and a loose fitting white shirt. The rose gold metallic loafers are from Forever21, but you can pair it with any neutral dressy flats.The vertebrae necklace from Baublebar is my only accessory, but you can add a dressy watch or some bracelets. I did not want to go overboard with accessories in order to keep everything simple. This look is perfect for daytime and to run errands. It is suitable for work too if your office environment is casual.
LOOK 2
Here I pair a bright summer dress with a grey printed blazer. This is a great way to transition your outfit from summer to fall. I love this paisley print blazer from Forever21. The neutral color tones down the blue to make it more fall neutral. The metallic layered necklace gives edginess to the outfit. Blue eyewear and wedge shoes completes the look. This outfit is perfect for a night out.
LOOK 3
Pairing white on white makes this a really classic look. The white lace romper as well as the blazer are from Forever21. I’d been on the lookout for a two toned blazer and, as usual, Forever21 came to the rescue. Some yellow accessories add a dash of color. This look is perfect for any special occasion and can be worn both day and night.
