Holiday Party Looks: H&M X Balmain

Ho Ho Ho everyone! It is December and my favorite time of the year. Do not get me wrong! I still hate the cold, but the festivities associated with the holiday season makes everything magical. With holiday season comes shopping, eating, drinking and of course parties. In the next few weeks leading upto New year’s eve, I am going to style a few party outfits suitable for different occasions.

This week my center piece is this H&M-Balmain collaboration top. Balmain is a French haute couture fashion house and, normally, people like me cannot afford their clothing line. Therefore, when Balmain decided to collaborate with H&M, a chance to get similar designs at an affordable price was quite tempting. Lucky for me, I could avoid the long lines and stampedes in H&M stores, and get my hands on a few of them, from the convenience of my bed. With two laptops, two phones, a tablet and a very helpful husband, the first purchase that I made was this top! Any black top with bold gold accents will be a great alternative.

I paired it with a blue wrap skirt and a wide belt to cinch my waist. The BCBG heels inspired from the Valentino Rockstud pumps, which I got last year are a great bargain (thanks you DSW!). I was going for a sexy smoldering look, hence the smoky eyes. This outfit is perfect for holiday parties with friends.
