Lace double shot !

With new fall collections arriving in all the retail stores, I was getting ready for a fall post. But it is still 100 degrees outside and cooler fall temperatures are weeks away. Not that I’m complaining! l am a summer girl and love the warmth. Last weekend we got invited to an end of summer celebration party which was in the afternoon. It was hot and humid outside and I wanted to wear something light and airy. So, I went the lace route.

This lace (or crochet if you please!) crop top from Forever21 is my absolute favorite. The top is of the right length and hits just above my waist. The color is brighter than how it appears in the pictures. This top is perfect for those bright summer days. You can also wear this top over a dress and get a brand new outfit!

This lace shorts is from Old Navy. This made a ideal pair for the lace top. The statement necklace and some yellow pumps completed the outfit. The bucket bag was a great score from Kate Spade outlet store. There was so much discount, that I had to get it home. And I’m loving it!
