Three Way Chambray
Hi everyone! This week’s post is on the versatile chambray shirt. While chambray shirts are often confused with denim shirts, their weave is different and therefore they are lighter in texture. Denim pants are already in everyone’s wardrobe which can practically be paired up with anything. Here are some new ways of pairing chambray shirts.
LOOK 1
First off, I pair the chambray shirt with a pink skater skirt to get a pop of color. Instead of just tucking it into the skirt I let it loose and layer it with a black top to change it up a bit. A lace-up sandal completes the look. This girly attire is perfect for school/college or just a day out in fall, when the weather is mild. If it is colder outside, switch the black top with a sweater, and the sandals with some tall boots, and you’re all set.
LOOK 2
For this second look, I go for the edgy military inspired look. I feel that the chambray shirt adds a cool touch to the tough camo pants. I couple these with minimal gold accessories and let the outfit do the talking. The red pumps and red lips add a feminine flair. This look is perfect for brunch or a movie night. If its a little chilly outside, throw a leather jacket over it.
LOOK 3
I attempt a chic yet classy feel with this third look. I layer my chambray shirt with a dress. I wear a little black leather dress here, but you can layer it under any dress. This bold statement necklace from Mirina Collections (use my code : leena20 to get 20% off storewide) can transform any outfit. This look can be worn for both day and night special occasions.
Thank you for stopping by. Hope you like my take on styling chambray shirts!
Loved all the pairings today!! Each was so different yet classy! Particularly loved the pairing with the pink skater skirt.. Can’t wait to try it out.
Great post! I love chambray shirts since you can wear them with so many things. I love all three of these looks. I love the pink skirt in #1, The red shoes in #2 and that necklace in #3. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend!
