Fall Color: Burgundy

Fall is proceeding at a rapid pace and trees are losing leaves really fast. Which means, yes, “Winter is coming”! The good news is that its still pretty pleasant out here in New Jersey and wearing skirts are still a practical option. The Pantone color of the year was Marsala. If you are going ‘Pantone what??’, well, Pantone plays a big role every year in deciding which color will dominate those Sephora lipstick shelves. Marsala kinda looks like burgundy and burgundy is always a great fall color. So it all works out (if you care!).

I’m really liking the turtleneck trend and here I’ve paired a turtleneck sweater with this leather wrap skirt. I’ve worn my boots with some knee-high socks, which I have bunched up at the calves. The Baublebar vertebrae necklace makes a comeback again in this outfit. Hope you like this look!
