Fall Blazers II: Colors
Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed the first edition of blazer styling and got some inspirations. This edition is all about the colorful blazers. Unlike the shooting for the first edition when it was still miserably hot, the shooting for this was actually quite pleasant, with temperatures dipping over the weekend. There is an oncoming hurricane (Hurricane Joaquin) headed towards NJ next weekend; so the weather is getting serious about fall!
LOOK 1
You can never go wrong with red and so I went all the way and paired a red blazer, red pants and a red cross body bag. Essentially you can do this with any color. I chose a neutral colored shoes to tone down the red. This white top is from Shein. I really like the peter pan collars and the lace body. This outfit needed red lips so I went with the trusty Mac Rubywoo which is perfect for brown girls. So are you ‘Red’y for fall?
LOOK 2
This is a perfect night-out look. The cobalt blue color always looks great with black (what color doesn’t?). I went with a layered peplum top and a skater skirt for the body. This necklace is from J.Crew which I’d bought a few years back and was my one of my first expensive purchases. And to keep it safe, I had very carefully bubble-wrapped it & put it in a jewelry box, and forgotten about it for the past year. So when I rediscovered it this week, it had to be featured in the blog. It is a great piece and instantly uplifts any outfit. On my lips is the Nars Audacious lipstick in the color Silvia.
LOOK 3
I have recently started leaning towards pale pink and blush colors. I got this blazer and this peplum bottom skirt at a great deal from Asos. The good thing about Asos is that if you are patient and keep a watch on the items you like, you get great discounts. The tassel cross body was another great piece I scored from Asos. This look is work appropriate for all the corporate girls! I wanted to do something different with my hair this time and went with this braided updo. Let me know if you want a tutorial!

Hi Vanessa, Thank you so much! That means a lot.
All three of these looks are great so it is hard to pick a favorite. I think for me I love the last one the best since I am very into the idea of pink for this fall. I really love the red as well so it is a tough choice. You look fantastic in all three.
